A few years ago, I was in a state of physical decline and I didn't know it until I began having irregular heart beats. Ironically, I thought I was eating healthy and living a better life until I began to study whole food nutrition.
My health began to decline after I left my Nursing Administration position in the fall of 2005. Not only did I have arrhythmias (skipped heart beats), I also had terrific knee pain that woke me at night. It was very painful to walk down stairs or take short walks. After numerous tests and a cardiac catheterization, the cardiologist wanted to put me on a variety of medications and Orthopedic surgeons wanted to operate on my knees. At this time I weighted 170 lbs, well over my healthy weight. I knew that I had to take charge of my health and my life or else I would have continued on this downward spiral leading to further decline in health and become truly dependent on doctor visits and medications.
I am happy to say that I did just that ~ I took control of my health! Using the Nutrition Response Testing program has fundamentally changed my life and the Nutrition Response Testing techniques helped my body achieve its maximum health potential. The test showed me exactly what areas and organs in my body were lacking and I began a program specifically designed for me that allowed my body to heal by consuming whole foods. I went from wearing a size 14 to a size 8 in 8-9 months!
Thanks to this incredible change in my lifestyle, I can now walk daily without pain. I also ride my horse regularly and I have a much happier life overall. Today, I feel renewed, revitalized and blessed that I learned about Nutritional Response Testing. I am very excited to share my training and experience with you so you too can reach your maximum health potential!
I began studying whole food nutrition in June 2003. In 2006, I was qualified to enroll in the Advanced Clinical Training course in Nutritional Response Testing at Ulan Nutritional Systems in Florida.
I graduated with a certification in Nutrition Response in March 2007, a program that was developed by Dr. Freddie Ulan. I’ve studied with other internationally recognized nutrition experts such as Michael Dobbins DC, Jay Robbins DC, Janet Lang DC, and Lynne August MD.
My previous education in the Health Services field included receiving my Bachelors Degree in nursing in 1975 from City University of New York. I continued my education and graduated from New York University with a Masters Degree in Nursing Administration in 1979. It is partly due to my extensive background in health care that I made the decision to dedicate my career and my life to serving others and sharing my knowledge about whole food nutrition. I am also committed to doing all I can to help our community become healthier and maintain a healthy life style.
I am a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation, an organization that is “dedicated to restoring nutrient dense foods to the American diet through education, research and activism…” For more information, click on westonaprice.org
